In an interview with SModa, where he talked about his stylistic evolution during the time that has passed since he won ‘OT 2017’.
“My style has changed in the last year. Now I see clothes that I wore a few months ago and they seem horrible to me. And the looks I wore in ‘OT’ do not like me very much, “says the singer, who had to deal with some wicks of style “surfer” that now recognizes that it would not.
However, in addition to her look, Amaia also admits that she would now change something from her short career: “I would rather not have gone to Eurovision, I had a bad time because we did not stop giving interviews, doing a lot of things and I just wanted to sing “, says about the extensive promotion he had to live.
The artist, who was already critical of the festival, assuring that there was “a lot of posture,” has also talked about the making of her first album:

Romero was born on 3 January 1999 in Pamplona, Navarre. Daughter of Ángel Romero and Javiera Arbizu, Amaia belongs to a family of musicians. Her uncle, Joaquín Romero, was the manager of the Orfeón Pamplonés concert choir from 2008 until 2016, as well as of the Pablo Sarasate Orchestra for two years. It was her uncle who discovered that as a child, Amaia had absolute pitch.
On her mother’s side, Amaia is the niece of Carmen Arbizu, professor of singing at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra since 1990. Amaia is in the last year of studying for a degree in piano at this conservatory.
