GREECE – Despite having one of the most popular concerts in Athens, The Ejekt Fstival, taking place in Athens, Katerine Duska, Minor Project and Matina Sous Peau held a full house concert in one of the largest open air music stages in the very center of Athens. Among the songs performed, Katerine performed twice her Eurovision entry (unplugged and the normal Eurovision version), a song which is still highly appreciated by the Greeks and lots of Europeans.
Speaking to Katerine åter her concert, although sh was exhausted we got some interesting info gathered. First of all Katerine seems to have left Eurovision behind her with no plans or wish to return to the contest (at least with the current standings). It was a momentum and fulfilling experience for her and therefore she doesn’t feel the need to pursue it again, at this point at least.
Katerine is quite busy at the moment. Besides her concert tonight, she is already in the studio working on new songs which will be released sometime in autumn. She couldn’t reveal much but she confirmed she will be collaborating again with David Sneddon.
Then we decided to have a fun moment asking Katerine three very naught questions: When asked with which 2019 participants she would do a duet, she was decisive: Lake Malawi, Mahmood and Duncan Laurence are her choices. When asked with whom would sh go out for dinner and movies, she chose Conan Osiris and then she chose Michael Rice if she had to choose a bestie from the contest.
One extra video I wanted to add to this post was a rally goosebump performance of KILLING ME SOFTLY which made all auditors rise their cellphones and light up the entire area. It was estimated by the officials that more than 5,000 people entered the Technopolis praises for the concert last night.
