GREECE – Helena Paparizou spoke recently about Eurovision 2019 participants of Greece and Cyprus. Regarding Katerine Duska and Tamta, the 2005 Eurovision winner said.
The only advice I can give them is – as much as possible – that they do not have anxiety. I know Tamma very well and I love her too much. We have done a lot of things together and she knows what its weakness I have personally, artistically and vocally. She has nothing to fear, go and be herself. He is the ultimate and is a very positive creature!
As for the girl who will represent Greece, Katerina Duska, I find it a huge surprise. When her name was announced, I went to search and find out about her. I like it very much and I wish my success to Greece. I saw a little of her interview and what I liked was her attitude, I loved having a nice confidence … she was very confident about herself. We Katerina Duska do not know her well, we have met Tamta over the years and we have her trust. The way this girl was talking to that interview inspired confidence even if I did not know it well. I wish good luck to both girls! I wish they were first – second and Sweden third! (laughs) I, Sweden, I always include it, you understand me!
Let’s not forget that Helena Paparizou welcomed Sergey Lazarev in Athens twice in 2016. On early April she and Sergey attended the oikotimes 15th anniversary party and in June she performed alongside with him at MAD VMA 2016.
Helena shared the Eurovision world few days ago with the surprise announcement of the one-off reunion with Nikos Panayiotides, with whom (as Antique) represented Greece in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, bringing Greece in the 3rd ran of the scoreboard for the first time ever.
