ITALY – As if the Belarusian aggregated result mistake was not enough, there seems to be another issue with the Italian public voting this time. It was discovered that the RAI document with the public voting results published on their official website doesn’t agree with the results given via EBU by DIGAME.
The issue occurred in the second semi final in which Italy was eligible to broadcast and vote according to the January semi finals allocation draw. You can see the RAI document here.
In the identified mistake Russia should get the 8 points of the Italian public vote and not Norway as EBU attributed. This should apply also for Moldova, North Macedonia and Lithuania. In fact Lithuania would have been in the top ten which would have lead to a tie with Denmark and under the EBU rules it could result to qualification for Jurijus.

In the case of Lithuania – Denmark tie for the qualification in the Gran Final the EBU rules resolve the ties with the song that received the most points from all the National Audiences is ranked the highest. This is something EBU obviously should answer the soonest possible.
