CROATIA 🇭🇷
Franka was last year’s Croatian spokesman. She sang Crazy in the Lisbon scene, but despite her excellent appearance she did not qualify for the Finals. In the semifinals Franka singled out the Netherlands after being ranked first and followed by Northern Macedonia and Switzerland. Her latest posts include Romania, Latvia and Ireland.

RUSSIA 🇷🇺
The Tolmachevy Sisters represented Russia in 2014 with Shine directed by our own Phokas Evangelinos, winning the seventh place. The duo consists of Maria and Anastasia.
Maria in the semi-final singled out Malta, Albania and Romania while she did not seem to like Swedish, Danish and Lithuanian. Anastasia ranked Romania in the top spot, followed by Armenia and Northern Macedonia, while in the last 3 places we have seen Sweden, Norway and Switzerland!
In the final, Maria included the following countries in her tenth place: 1. Italy, 2. Greece, 3. Azerbaijan, 4. Cyprus, 5. Belarus, 6. San Marino, 7. Serbia, 8. Northern Macedonia 9. Denmark and 10. Malta. In the last places we see the Czech Republic, Germany and Australia.
The ten countries that distinguished Anastasia were: 1. Malta, 2. Greece, 3. San Marino, 4. Azerbaijan, 5. Belarus, 6. Albania, 7. Cyprus, 8. Serbia, 9. Spain, 10. Iceland, although not apparently impressed by the United Kingdom, Israel and Germany.
ICELAND 🇮🇸
Maria Olafsdottir represented Iceland in 2015 with Unbroken. Unfortunately despite the presence of Hera Bjork (Iceland 2010) on vocals did not manage to qualify for the Final. The top triple of the semifinals, according to Maria, was Australia, the Czech Republic and Belarus, while the last three were Georgia, San Marino and Portugal.
The ten countries that excelled in the Grand Final were: 1. Sweden, 2. Australia, 3. Czech Republic, 4. The Netherlands, 5. Germany, 6. France, 7. Serbia, 8. Malta, 9. Cyprus, 10. Azerbaijan. In the bottom 3 we come across Israel, Albania and San Marino. Greece ranked her in 21st place.
MOLDOVA 🇲🇩
In 2008, Moldova was represented by Geta Burlacu with A Century of Love. That year, Moldova did not qualify for the Finals. Geta in the semifinals marked Romania, North Macedonia and Denmark, while in the last 3 places we have 3 countries that managed to qualify for the Finals, two of them ended up in the top ten of the competition, which is Switzerland, Malta and last Sweden!
In the Grand Final the choices were: 1. North Macedonia, 2. Australia, 3. Czech Republic, 4. Norway, 5. Azerbaijan, 6. The Netherlands, 7. Malta (which in the semi-final was the penultimate) 8. Denmark, 9. Cyprus and 10. Iceland. On the contrary, it seems not to have been acclaimed by Belarus, Sweden and Spain. Katerina Duska ranked her in 18th place.
SWEDEN 🇸🇪
Lina Hedlund, although never represented Sweden, is particularly popular amongst the fans of the Contest because, as a member of the Disco-Pop band Alcazar, she has participated in Melodifestivalen 4 times with last in 2014 with Blame It On the Disco taking 3rd place this year for the first time as a solo performer she tried to represent Sweden with Victorious.
It seems that for Lina the ranking of the countries was a difficult and complicated process since in the semi-final it made a mistake and ranked the countries in the reverse, the latter ranked them in the top and vice versa. Therefore Austria, Albania and Ireland were found to be wrong in their final three for the semifinals, while Russia, Switzerland, the Netherlands were among the last.
In the final Lina scored correctly and in her tent, the following countries were found: 1. Netherlands, 2. Switzerland, 3. Northern Macedonia, 4. Slovenia, 5. Azerbaijan, 6. Italy, 7. Australia, 8. Russia, 9. Malta, 10. Cyprus. Germany, San Marino and Albania were found in the bottom 3.
