KREUZLINGEN, SWITZERLAND – Switzerland is getting ready for the national selection for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The Swiss-Italian national broadcaster RSI has released the first three candidates to compete in the national selection. A panel with three jury members listened to all the submitted songs and they chose these three songs:
Theo (Matteo Rossi) – Because of you
Elias Bertini – Elephant
Nathalie (Nathalie Cadlini) – Share love
These three songs will compete in the live show in December together with 10 songs selected by the broadcaster SRF/RTR and the six candidates selected by broadcaster RTS. Here a panel will choose six acts to the final round. Three songs from SRF/RTR, 2 from RTS and 1 from RSI.
The final of the national selection in Switzerland will be held on the 13th of February 2016 at Bodensee Arena in Kreuzlingen and here the viewers will have their say in the outcome as the winner will be selected by a 50/50 televote-jury vote.
