UKRAINE – Alina Pash had already visited Crimea on a flight from Moscow, according to social media comments weeks before the selection event.
An interview with Kateryna Osadcha’s Svitske zhittya in 2019 led to this speculation. The singer described her 2015 trip to Crimea. She used the term โflyโ to describe her voyage to the peninsula.
Alina told Timur Miroshnychenko last week that she did not fly into Crimea. Instead, she stated she took the bus. She said the Kateryna Osadcha passage was taken out of context. She went to Crimea for a private affair, not a show. Alina later sent Suspilne actual confirmation that she had crossed the land boundary.
It revealed documentation demonstrating Alina Pash entered Crimea through the land border, therefore not violating Ukrainian law or any Vidbir selection regulations. In August 2015, she was recorded passing through the Ukrainian state land border post, Chaplynka in Kherson Oblast.
