A MESSAGE FOR OIKOTIMES
Talking to singer and bandleader Maria Arkhipova she tells us that
โI wrote the lyrics spontaneously inspired by one particular evening where I watched the dark bright sky observing a fast bright moving object: a satellite!โ
She decided to use this image as a metaphor for love, friendship and relationship. Portraying the emerald in the sky as her personal companion, she realized the image can symbolize anyoneโs companion in oneโs own personal universe.
In the lyric video for Satellite, which is live on YouTube, AMARIIA transports her listeners to their own universe, holding up a mirror for them to see their own Satellite. In the video, the vocals and the image of Maria symbolize the boundless and powerful outer space that absorbs us and directs us to our own orbit.
In the spring of 2022, the band plans to release their first album, supported by a lengthy tour in summer and autumn conquering the many music festivals and cities of Ukraine!
