UNITED STATES – Maine represented in the inaugural AMERICAN SONG CONTEST by rock’n’roll artist King Kyote and oikotimes team had the pleasure of chatting with him ahead of the third show where we will all find out whether he qualifies for the semis or not.
It will be no surprise if he goes through as he was one of the best vocal performers of the second show. No matter whether you are into this kind of music or like/dislike the song, for sure you have to respect his voice which has an original identity.
What we didn’t even think about King Kyote is that he loves surfing and checking his social media, he definitely does! and he is good at chasing the maverick.
King Kyote is a recording artist who has toured extensively in the Northeast as well as around the country. Harken to a night of whiskey drinking in a cabin among the Maine pines, King echoes the yells of rock โnโ roll’s forefathers while having a deeply rooted harmony with roots rock, singer-songwriter and folk genres.
He has played at iconic venues throughout Maine and local festivals, as well as shows with many local popular acts such as Ghosts of Paul Revere, Rustic Overtones and The Mallet Brothers Band.
