UNITED STATES – At the start of tonight’s American Song Contest qualifying event, three additional qualifiers were revealed.
They join Jordan Smith of Kentucky, who was named as the jury’s choice at the close of last week’s programme.
Chloe Fredericks of North Dakota, Broderick Jones of Kansas, and Jonah Prill of Montana advanced from last week’s second qualifying round after receiving the highest combined online vote and jury scores.
The remaining seven candidates from last week’s programme may still go to the next stage if they are successful on online streaming platforms.
Tennessee’s Tyler Braden was announced as the third-show qualifier from the third show based on the votes of the 56 juries.
Following the completion of all qualifying rounds, two additional “redemption songs” from all non-qualifiers will be included in the semi-finals.
