UNITED STATES – Over the course of 121 minutes, the third round of the American Song Contest drew an average of 1,600,000 viewers. After American Idol (ABC), 9-1-1 (FOX), The Neighborhood, Bob Loves Abishola, and NCIS, the programme was ranked fourth in its time slot (CBS).
In comparison to the previous week, the third round of the American Song Contest lost 14.9 percent of the viewership. The event has lost 200,000 attendees in one week.
The first segment (20:00-21:00) drew 1,839,000 viewers (0.3 percent rating 18-49 years old) while the second segment (21:00-22:00) drew 1,359,000 viewers (0.2% rating 18-49 years). It was the fourth choice of the night in both slots, with half the viewership of American Idol, which it lead.
