FRANCE – French TV M6 dedicated a special show to singer-songwriter, Jean-Jacques Goldman, on 6 October.
The show that celebrates the artist’s 70 years and 40 years of his career saw a long list of guests recorded in June at La Seine Musicale in Paris, the future home of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The singer-songwriter in his long career has written songs for Johnny Halliday and Céline Dion. For the Canadian singer, he wrote and produced the album D ‘Eaux, to date the best-selling album ever in French.
Unfortunately, Céline Dion was the great absentee of this concert, forcing or allowing others to interpret her hits such as “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and “S’il suffisait d’ aimer “.
On the other hand, there were some faces known to the Eurovision audience such as Amir and Patrick Fiori or Céphaz that we saw in the national selection 2021.
