THE NETHERLANDS – Wrabel and Duncan Laurence joined forces and created “Back To Back”, the official anthem of the 25th edition of Amsterdam Pride.
The lyrics of the song are about two people who lie in bed with their backs to each other after an argument and ask each other questions about love, self-esteem, and the distance between them.
Wrabel, real name Stephen Wrabel, is an openly gay American singer and songwriter. In his career, he has written for Pink, Kesha, Kygo, and the Backstreet Boys.
As a solo singer, his success came with “Ten Feet Tall” in collaboration with DJ Afrojack.
“Back To Back” is taken from Wrabel’s debut album These Words Are All For You, which will be released on September 24th.
The song was co-written by Kurtis McKenzie, who previously worked with artists such as Maroon 5, Charli XCX, and Mark Ronson.
