FINLAND – Andrea Brosio, a rock singer from Orbassano (Turin province), won The Voice of Finland All-Stars. When he was 19, he moved to Helsinki to pursue his fortune and started working at the Jyväskylä conservatory. Meanwhile, he created two local rock bands, each of which published an album and many singles in 2012.
On October 2nd, coach Michael Monroe and the Voice of Finland All-Stars win. Andrea wasn’t new to The Voice; he had previously competed on the talent show in 2017. (Eurovision 2020).
“These days I returned to my family in Cortandone. Of course, I would like to go back to Italy entirely. It depends on where the music will take me, it would be nice if there was the opportunity. And it would be wonderful to be able to represent Finland in Turin, on the Eurovision stage: an important event for the Finns, they love it, it is very popular […] Their “Zitti e buona” always plays on the radio here in Finland, a satisfaction to hear an Italian song broadcast here. In this digital and autotune era, it is nice to see the success of a group that writes and plays their songs.”
To enter, Andrea must first submit a song to the YLE broadcaster, then hope to be chosen, and last hope to win and that would be his last chance to travel to Turin and represent Finland at Eurovision 2022.
Meanwhile, his band White Cloud Fire, of whom he is the main vocalist, released the new song “I don’t want to.”
Will Andrea send the UMK 2022 song? The submission period ended on September 6, and the artist has yet to win The Voice All-Stars. Will he have considered submitting the music regardless of the outcome?
Solo or with a band? They are ready to back him up!
