Anna Bergendahl, the Swedish representative in Oslo 2010, didn’t unfortunately make it through the final, for the first time ever for Sweden, but her career didn’t finish at all, and her album Yours Sincerely reached the top of the Swedish charts. Despite her following album, Something to Believe In, didn’t do it so well in Europe, but it went not unnoticed intercontinentally. This former album was released, back in October 2012, and managed to reach a respectable 13th position on the Swedish charts, however, attracting some media in the United States.
Surprisingly, the story began back in January, when her debut single, called ”Fun”, was released there and warmly received. Not later, in February, she started landing in San Francisco, for some appearances, at the Sunset Sessions event. Her popularity out there has reached higher levels and it’s now official, that she will be releasing her album, on the 30th of April, in charge of Decca Records.
The success was so, that, very well-known producer Larry Klein, who has been working with legends as Joni Mitchell, is now officialy in charge of Anna’s Something To Believe In production, in the USA.
To conclude, we could finally say, things are now going so well for Anna, who should be proudly happy of her performance in Oslo, which was one of the most memorable ones. Check Anna’s latest video for Something To Believe In debut single:
