ARMENIA – Born and raised in Vanadzor, singer-songwriter Rosa Linn will represent Armenia in Turin. In her own words, Rosa says:
Rosa will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of her countryโs Junior Eurovision counterpart, Malรฉna, who won the most recent Junior Contest for Armenia in Paris last December.
Can she manifest a double victory?

How did the proposal for Eurovision reach you and why did you decide to proceed with SNAP?
I knew that there will be an internal selection and we decided to apply a couple
of songs that I worked on with my team. The Armenian Public TV chose SNAP and I think they just really resonated and embraced the message behind the song. They have been such a joy to work with.
What do you think was the first-ever stimulus you had and got involved with music and songwriting?
I always loved music since early childhood and I donโt even remember when exactly I
got the desire to be on the big stage. I remember tho that I would always sing at special events and this whole thing kinda happened automatically and naturally. I realized I really had a chance to make this music career happen for myself when I signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and eventually with my label Nvak Collective.
To whom are you referring through your lyrics of SNAP?
Oh, that one is definitelyโฆ.. A SECRET!
From all music platforms, why Eurovision is the most important for you?
I think it is the biggest opportunity a new artist can get at the beginning of oneโs
career. Millions of people are watching you and what better way to showcase your platform and story along with some of the best artists in the world.
Which of your friends or family members will accompany you to Turin?
Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions my family and friends would only be able to cheer for me behind their screens.
If you could have the ideal (no limits) stage presentation on stage, how would you present (visually) your song?
I am very happy with the staging and I wouldnโt change it at all. I think the director really read me and it absolutely reflects what I always imagined for SNAP. You will see it on May 10th!
Do you follow Eurovision annually? Which Armenian entry has been most printed in your mind and thoughts, or even inspired you?
Iโve been watching Eurovision since I was a kid with my family. Weโre a big fan of the contest. And for me, the best Armenian entry was Aram mp3โs Not alone. Was really motivating and inspiring for me as an aspiring young artist.
Although your country works miracles in JESC, still Armenia has no victory in ESCโฆ Why do you think this hasnโt happened yet, as for many fans there were song diamonds throughout the years?
With Eurovision, you can never know which song will do great and which will not cause each year is special in its own way. Competition is always high and ultimately the fans can help decide the heights to which your song can go. You only get the feeling of oh this will work but I also believe there is a matter of luck that is out of your hands. I just want to focus on performing the best that I can live and sharing my most authentic story with all the Eurovision fans while I have this opportunity in front of me.
I think that by now you have heard the other 39 entries. IMAGINE if you could have the chance to ask ONE other ESC artist to join u on stage and duet your song, WHOM would you choose and why?
There are so many I canโt choose only one. But I really loved MARO and Corneliaโs
especially. So maybe one of them.
You described your hard work since a child when it comes to musicโฆ So ROSA LINN, how do you imagine yourself as an artist 10 years from now?
Iโll still be working hard and I canโt imagine ever not being an artist at this point. Itโs connected me with so many great people and fans from all over and this experience has only solidified that being on stage and singing for an audience is what makes me feel like Iโm most โat home.โ
