ARMENIA – singer, songwriter Athena Manoukian presented music video of her new song entitled “You Should Know’’. The video is available on YouTube since January 22. The Eurovision 2020 Armenian representative notes that this is her first ballad song. It’s a song she wrote along with Mark F. Angelo. They wrote the music together and she wrote the lyrics of the song. Athena’s producer DJ Paco was responsible for the production.

The song “You Should Know’’ itself was written in 2016. It’s a song Athena always loved and performed in all her live shows and she wanted to release a music video for it one day. Finally, she did it. “You Should Know’’ is a dynamic powerful ballad, where the singer talks about a love story between two people.

ATHENA SAYS

”One of them is really hurt about the treatment she/he gets out of this relationship. It’s like she/he’s writing a letter to her/his loving one, explaining how she/he feels. Its meaning is deep as the song’s conclusion is to love and respect ourselves and never stay in any toxic relationship where there are no love, respect and understanding. We should stay strong, keep our level up and know what we worth. We should know how to save our soul”,

As for the music video of the song, Athena Manoukian has a part of directing the music video of “You Should Know’’ song and she is also creative and art director of the video. It should be noted that on the day of the song’s music video shooting, Athena had to totally feel the song and be inside the role, that’s why she cried during the shooting many times. She notes in order to cry she was thinking about the war that happened in Armenia and all the sad situations going on there and that made her very sad and upset.

CYPRUS 🇨🇾 CYPRUS - RIK has been receiving threats over the phone for the last few hours. Unknown people threaten to set fire and burn the building of the State Channel, thus mobilizing the Police. The motivation of the unknown seems to be the choice of the song which will represent Cyprus in this year's Eurovision. What bothers them seems to be the title of the song "EL DIABLO" which means devil. In fact, a page has been created on social media that collects signatures so that this song does not represent us in the international music competition this year. Yesterday, a petition was launched for CyBC to withdraw the song from the contest. At the time of writing it has 2,400 signatures. 4 0
