AUSTRALIA – On Saturday, February 26th, the 2022 Australian national final, dubbed Australia Decides, will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast.
Joel Creasey and Myf Warhurst will present the show, which will be shown on SBS.
The national broadcaster of Australia has opened the song submission window for artists and composers that want to compete in the national final and represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022. The deadline for song submissions is September 26, 2021.
Following that, SBS and Blink TV will review all of the entries and select a shortlist at the end of the year. By late 2021, SBS plans to reveal the names of the lucky individuals.
The Australian Eurovision entry and act for 2022 will be decided by a jury and public televoting process.
