Despite the big questions whether the Welcome Reception concept was kindly ignoring the accreditated media and press in various was, Euroclub compensated us all (almost). As of 18:30 local time fans and journalists went to the Euroclub but it was around 22:00 the real action started. Participants from various countries attended the event (although surprisingly they didn’t perform – after all they now have to save voices).
The oikotimes.com had the chance to take some statements from the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 participants few hours before the first semifinal kicking off. We had the opportunity to speak to Slovenia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Moldova’s Pasha Parfeny and Azerbaijan. Most of them seemed quite confident and ready for the Eurovision Song Contest. They might be saying the usual and typical things but they are so much stressed and pressured with the semifinals doing their maximum to win this contest anyway.
