These are the five big favorites to win Eurovision according to polls, odds and reactions at the press center. Lets see what is positive and what negative in the case one of the following countries wins Eurovision:
positive: It is a song that has been a favorite for months which for sure shows a positive reaction to the song and the singer.Copenhagen is an easy to access city for delegations, fans and journalists while Danish Television has the experience of organizing this kind of shows.
negative: Copenhagen is a very expensive city while the most negative is that a lot of journalists and fans strongly react to the big support that this entry is getting from organizers.
positive: In case of Azerbaijan the most positive thing about them winning is that Turkey (and most probably Bosnia) are going to come back which is going to be great not only for EBU but most of all for Eurovision fans. Moreover the song and the stage presentation have created a very positive reaction to the fans and journalists so it will be a well deserved victory.
negative: The access to Baku is really difficult and Azeris must understand that in the case they win they must find a way to solve this problem for all delegations, fans and journalists. After all, this time they won’t need to build a whole new stadium so they can allocate a budget for transportation and discounts at accommodation.
positive: This is the most modern of all 5 big favorites and after Loreen it would for sure create a trend were countries will send much more modern songs.
negative: Oslo is a very expensive city while 2010 Eurovision had the worst stage of the last decade.
positive: In case Ukraine wins we will have an amazing singer winning Eurovision which is nice for a song contest while Kiev is a beautiful city, with easy access and good rates for hotels and accommodations.
negative: The stage presentation is one of the worst we have ever seen on Eurovision stage and a victory of Ukraine will create a trend that may destroy the contest
positive: In case Russia wins Eurovision we know that they will again organize a spectacular show while Moscow (or St. Petersburg?) are cities that someone can access very easily.
negative: We don’t find that good for Eurovision to have a winner with a song that is such a clear copy.
