DAILYSTAR.CO.UK REPORTS – BBC bosses are considering going “back to basics’’ and asking the public to choose our Eurovision act next year after a series of flops.
For the past three years thee Beeb has picked the singer or band to represent us in the competition. But their choices have been disastrous.
Earlier this year Bonnie Tyler, 62, came 19th out of 26, in 2012, Engelbert Humperdinck, 77, came second bottom and in 2011, boyband Blue came 11th.
Last night a BBC spokeswoman said she could not elaborate on Eurovision plans for next year and it was “still early days”.
BBC confirmed participation in Eurovision 2014 earlier this week
