Morten Kaiser from Denmark
When I heard โHelp You Flyโ for the first time, I thought โNoooooโ! And I still have trouble with the song. I think my problem is Ivanโs voice. I really donโt like it. The song is not really bad. There are worse songs in the competition this year. Ivan would like to perform naked on stage with wolvesโฆ Be my guest, but I donโt think I will like the song more. But I have a weird feeling that Belarus can surprise and do very well in the second semi final. Weโll see in May, but for now I donโt see this song in the Grand Final.
Fotis Konstantopoulos from Greece
I see an artist and I see an artistic approach to a song that most of you will never listen anyway. The idea spread about the wolves might be a promotional stunt or he might get EBU permission to use it on stage. no matter what Ivan is showing us a peculiar personality, something that is not easily commercialised and therefore not easily understood in order to be voted. The song in its simplicity might present something enough for the country to qualify. The Belarusian Jesus has personality something that will defend his entry no matter whether we will like it during the live show or not.
Luka Popovic from Serbia
The first few seconds of the song are great but then it just changes melody and goes in another direction. However, I do like the chorus and it’s kind of catchy. Overall I think it is an average song, which should pass though to the final. A few years back it could have been a stronger contender but times have changed and quality matters much more at the contest lately. I do think that the draw will have an a big impact on how this song does.
