This afternoon we got to know the 2nd representative from a country in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest and some got excited already!
SPAIN – Spanish national broadcaster announced this afternoon in its prime time new, that Blas Cant贸 will represent the country in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. This means that there will also be an internal selection for the song, unless a surprise show for the song selection announced, in the end.
The macho, hunk and confident former member of band Ayrun, started his career when he was 8 by participating in a music contest, failing to win, something which was achieved two years later.
In 2004 he participated in the Junior Eurovision national selection but it was Maria Isabel who won the final and actually, Junior Eurovision 2004, later on, itself.
In 2010 he joined the band AYRUN which had several success in LOS40 Music Awards and MTV EMAs. Then he left the band and in 2016 he competed in the Spanish version of YOUR FACE SOUNDS FAMILIAR.
In 2017 he releases his first solo single, IN YOUR BED, the song with which he won the Spanish talent show, YOUR FACE SOUNDS FAMILIAR.
Since 2014, Spain hasn’t ranked above the 20th position. Will Blas change this? Well you never know, we need also to hear the song. In the meantime, the Spanish fan cubs present themselves enthusiastic.
After all, they all need to suck up TVE otherwise LOS40 and RTVE will not allow Blas to attend any of their parties. The annual Spanish Eurofans mood for their entry flows like this: enthusiasm on artist announcement, outraged at song announcement, they never believe in the bets between March and May (because each of them have heard of a secret stage presentation secret) and a week before Eurovision, all of them believe the trophy will go to Spain because the Spanish entry is a masterpiece. Of course, this never happens a day after the Grand Final, the fans accus TVE and the choreographer for the bad ranking.
