ITALY – Bologna is emerging as a hot favorite to get the hosting of Eurovision 2022. Their bid which is now based on the origin city of Raffaella Carrà is now having one more asset on its sleeves, that of Laura Pausini.
Although originated from Solarolo, in the last few hours, the fans who follow Pausini have noticed the artist’s social network two stories dedicated to Bologna’s candidacy for Eurovision 2022, where the singer invites the Emilian capital to vote in some polls created by fans.
Polls that have no weight in the decision that will be taken solely by RAI, but which can certainly allow us to understand the most sought-after destinations by fans of the European event.
Instagram and Facebook stories for which the famous Italian artist selects none other than Raffaella Carrà as the soundtrack.
A choice that does not seem random at all, partly due to the geographically complementary origins of the two singers in question, partly to recall the will of Bologna to dedicate its candidacy to Raffaella Carrà, as a tribute following her sad recent disappeared.
Bologna is working intensively on the presentation of its project in view of Eurovision 2022, thanks to a team of leading experts in the sector and a company, Free Events, which can boast experience in organizing major events.
Among the most popular places that – in the Bolognese panorama – could in this case host the European event there would be the Unipol Arena, the temple of music for most of the concerts of national and international artists in the Emilia-Romagna area, but also the Fairs of Bologna, which have large pavilions (also recently renovated) that already successfully host a temporary sports hall for Virtus basketball games.
