Bonnie Tyler, the English worldwide-known singer, who will represent the United Kingdom in Malmรถ, has made some statements about her own life, related to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Bonnie reveals herself, that she was penned by the BBC, in 1983, to represent the country in Munich. Not very surprisingly, her answer was ‘NO’. Not because of the contest, which she has followed for ages, but the success she was having at that moment of her musical career, when she released ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’. So, she considered that it was not the right time to compete at the contest.
Tyler also spoke about funny outfits and songs in Eurovision, which is what she liked the most from the contest, and it’s already known that Julien McDonald is in the line-up to design her outfit for the 18th of May.
About last year’s ESC, she admited, watching the contest live from Portugal, at home. About Engelbert’s luck, she thinks that he could had a bad night but he’s always been a great artist and that was not the best song for him.
‘I will the best I can, to bring the contest to the UK’. ‘I’m going for gold!’: this was Bonnie’s answer, to the nice opinions, that her entry & candidacy is receiving from the audience.
