Sometimes, we couldn’t even know what’s going on behind the cameras, the songs which competed in a National final or what kind of stories, national Broadcasters hide. One of them, is arriving to the fans and Eurovision websites. This one, is about Carlos Coelho, the lyricist behind the entries of Portugal 2008 and 2012, and several national finals, for instance, the song ‘For Eternity’, which Sofia Nizharadze sang at the Georgian song-selection, back in 2010.
Carlos wants to warn the composers, specially, Thomas G:Son who is responsible of the Georgian entry for 2013, that he could have some economic problems in the future with GPB (Georgian ESC national broadcaster). This is so, because Carlos, together with Andrej Babic, sent the song we mentioned before to the national final, and GPB told them, the entry was amongst the finalists, so they had to do a final version.
The whole production team and Carlos, did that surely thinking about GPB would cover all the specific costs, after the final, as the contract said. But something happened, and with some constant calls to GPB from Carlos, with no reply or ‘we will pay you soon’, nowdays, the team behind ‘For Eternity’ and Carlos, himself, have not received any amount of money. Moreover, there is no contact from GPB anymore.
What would Thomas G:Son think about it?
