SPAIN – Chanel no longer hides her relationship with Bastian Iglesias. After being caught on vacation in Mallorca with her boyfriend, the representative of Spain in Eurovision 2022 has decided to share a selfie with her boy on networks. So no one has the exclusive.
Chanel has also uploaded videos and photos of the hotel although AFKAR, stage name of Chanel’s boyfriend, does not appear. He has also uploaded videos through Instagram Stories and in one of those recordings Chanel appears in a car.
Who is Bastian Iglesias?
Bastian Iglesias is a 36-year-old musician from Madrid whose stage name is A F K A R. We know about him that before working in music he dedicated himself to unloading trucks and that he lived for a time in London. Upon his return, this project was born.
“It was born in my old place of creation, a space that was like a dream for me. A very large warehouse with mirrors, chroma, bathrooms, kitchen… I went there when I returned to Madrid from London and I am not exaggerating when I say that I went almost every day, on the coldest days of winter I used to wear 3 layers of clothing and I remember that I couldn’t even play the keyboard because my hands were cold. There I not only composed and produced music impulsively, I also had space to express myself dancing and performing without bothering anyone,” he said in an interview at IndyRock on the occasion of the release of his single Mucho you lack.
“As main influences, I could say that hip-hop music, classical and impressionist music, gospel, soul, the most daring pop or electronic music, but I could say many more”, he added then when he said that his idea was “to gradually bring out the 22 songs” that he had selected the summer of 2020: “The next thing that will come out will be an album called Laboratory but I don’t know when it will happen yet”.
He didn’t do it that way because he changed his plans. In 2021 he formed a musical duo with actress Berta Vázquez, under the name Museum. The first album they presented was called A Year Without You and it is an intimate, experimental and very original proposal.
