SPAIN – Chanel recorded the official music video for “SloMo,” the song with which she will represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, on Sunday.
The video clip, shot in Madrid, depicts Chanel as a pop diva like no other, a woman liberated, the owner and heroine of her own life.
Three minutes in which the dancing, the party, and the impressive lighting will be crucial aspects, inviting everyone who watches it to join the “SloMo” that wowed us during Chanel’s performance at the BenidormFest Final.
“Everything went pretty well; I’m quite wary, but everything went very well.” “We worked very hard to make it spectacular,” said the Spanish delegate after a long day of shooting in Madrid on Sunday.
Although she can’t reveal much since she wants her fans to be shocked on the debut, Chanel has said that pleasant feelings and enjoyment will travel through the screen.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you anything.” But, sure, it’s fantastic, and I believe you’ll like it a lot. We’ve gone to great lengths to make it a surprise. And, most all, we’ve had a terrific time, which I hope you’ll see on the screen,” the singer added.
“It’s insane. I’ve always enjoyed video clips since I was a kid, and I envisioned myself behind that smoke, that wind… And now it’s my time to go through it. It’s crazy, and I believe my inner kid is leaping for pleasure,” Chanel says after filming her first video clip, a dream she’s had since she was a youngster and watched them as a spectator.
Pawla Casanovas directed the video clip, which will be released in the next weeks. Pawla, who is 26 years old and from Sabadell, has collaborated with musicians such as Bad Gyal, Young Beef, and La Zowi.
