The Ukrainian Eurovision entry “Gravity” will be slightly modified ahead of the competition in Malmo after the public voiced their opinion on the song on an online poll set up by Mykhailo Nekrasov, the song’s producer and composer. The structure and tempo of the song will be changed with another chorus to be added and the ending to be modified.
The new and final version of “Gravity” will be presented to the public earlier next month. Nekrasov was also responsible for Ukraine’s 2006 entry by Tina Carol which came a respectable seventh in the final.
Zlata Ognevich, who will sing the song come May in Malmo is currently filming the music video for the entry.
She asked the public to send in their ideas for the video, with over 600 letters arriving. “We were incredibly pleased to get so many letters, comments and feedback. They showed once more how talented and open for creativity Ukraine is. Such energy exceeded our expectations”, Zlata said.
