GREECE – On 29 & 30 June 2019 the Color Day Festival brought us the Circus Project! The cherished summer musical festival is changing concept to bring you where magic is true and everything can happen! A brand new, very impressive stage will decorate OAKA and will be ready to welcome and host domestic and international performers that you are sure to look forward to! The team of oikotimes.com in Athens was backstage checking the vibes with our favourite Eurostars: Mikolas Josef, Eleni Foureira and KAZKA while Josephine Wendel was performing on stage.
First we met with the amazing sexy handsome Czech superstar, Mikolas Jose who literally saw his life changing after achieving the best ever ranking for his country with the smashing hit “Lie to Me” in Eurovision Song Contest 2018. He told us that he is not shy any more and he is definitely showing his sexy body. In the interview which we hope soon to be posted on or website he shard his excitement with the aftermath of Eurovision 2018, the big sponsors who approached hm for two big campaigns (Huwaei and Tezenis) and of course he shared his thoughts on Tamta’s performance in Eurovision 2019.
For Tamta Mikolas remembered how reluctant the singer was exactly a year ago when he urged her to participate and she was keeping small basket on the issue. He also thinks (as most of us) that Tamta should have scored higher in the Grand Final. Mikolas gave a slaying performance with the audience at the OAKA open air concert cheering for him all the way. While performing he carried with him two Greek flags. Mikolas also gave us a scoop: if he is about to return to Eurovision he has plenty of hit songs in his pocket!
Then we had KAZKA, the 2018 Ukrainian national final participants. They are famous in Ukraine but they are famous also in Greece if you wondered. The band expected to see though more Ukrainians in the audience but still they loved the experience at the festival today. When we asked them if they participate again for Eurovision, they are not sure if they will bid but they definitely want to try Eurovision and they do have new songs coming up and they feel that the political change in their country will bring more transparency and less political influence in the national selection and the Ukrainian participation in Eurovision in general.
Then we had Eleni Foureira. First let’s talk about her performance on stage. She nuzzled the audience and she definitely won the impressions of the day. She performed any song you could imagine but still Fuego, El Ritmo Psicodélico and of course Lasha Tumbai. The audience went frenetic with our Eurovision superstar who arrived this morning from Barcelona and got once again back on stage in Athens followed by a two days ago performance at MAD VMAs.
But we have to be honest: her team instructed everyone not to ask selfie, interviews of anything else. She only spoke on camera to the organisers of the event for 5 minutes. When got off stage she was immediately hijacked to her dressing room as if she was… Madonna (?). This is the second year of Eleni and her team having this attitude and in most cases this doesn’t “pay” well in the end. Nevertheless she is top selling artist in the country and in Europe, so I guess it could be nice to have a Greek “Madonna”!
We inform you that we also tried to reach Josephine Wndel (Greek national final participant in 2015) but she was on stage at the moment and due to limited time of ours we couldn’t wait longer than the 6 hours we were already there.
