SPAIN – Salvador Sobral has spoken about fast food music in 2017 causing the reaction of Robin Bengtsson, Alex Florea and Jacques Houdek. In 2018 he spoke negatively about Netta’s song prior to her victory in Lisbon and had an awkward moment handing over the trophy to the Israeli winner. Now Eleni was asked about it for the first time and she gave one more proper answer to Salvador.
After three days of performances in Spain an d a certified golden status for Fuego was enough for #QueenF to slay again in Europe, despite not wining the contest. Speaking to Formula TV she answered to the comments recently (and last year) made by Eurovision winner Salvador Sobral.
“I do not know, everyone has their opinion and I respect everyone’s opinion. My opinion is that when you are a real artist you have to respect all types of music. It is not as if one type of music was bad and another good. No, it’s your taste. If you do not like this kind of music, perfect, you do not like it, but respect it.
If you are a real artist, you respect all the music. That’s my opinion: I do not like opera, but I respect it, it seems very complicated. If Netta or I are liked by the people, it is because we are doing something right. I like pop, because it’s what people enjoy.”
With this elegant way Eleni spilled the teapot at Sobral’s head.
Inn the meantime it is announced that Eleni will soon release new song in Spanish!
