Andromachi is an up-and-coming and popular singer in Cyprus and Greece who is represented by Panik Records. The song “Ela” was created by a group of world-renowned composers under Alex Papaconstantinou (Eurovision 2007, 2009, 20012, 2018, 2019) consisting of Arash (Eurovision 2009), Eyelar Mirzazadeh, the Albanian producer Fatjon Miftaraj, Filloreta Raci Fifi, Geraldo Sandell, the well-known Cypriot composer and lyricist George Papadopoulos, the Swedish composer and producer of many international hits, such as Cool Me Down Robert Uhlmann, the Swedish producer in many collaborations with Alex P Viktor Svensson and Yll Limani.

ARASH IN THE SONGWRITING TEAM

The Cypriot entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will have skilled composers with Eurovision songwriting expertise. Aside from Alexander Papaconstantinou (Alex “P”), another well-known Eurovision professional is Arash, who was a member of the Azeri pair Aysel & Arash in Eurovision 2009. Arash Labaf, also known as Arash, was born in 1977 in Teheran, Iran.

He left for Sweden with his family when he was ten years old, where he presently resides. His musical career began after graduating from university, with the release of his first song “Boro boro” in 2004, which was certified gold in Sweden. The song was included in the Bollywood film “Bluffmaster!” in 2005.

COMMENTATOR 2022
