COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – A Danish newspaper has speculated on some of the participants who will take part in the country’s national Eurovision selection, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
“Her og Nu” believes Anne Gadegaard, which took part in the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is one of the ten participants competing in the national selection.
Furthermore, the newspaper speculates that Babou, Julie Bjerre and World of Girl will be taking part. Babou is a 20-year old singer who came third in the Danish version of X Factor.
Julie Bjerre also shot to fame after taking part in a talent show. Julie participated in “Mentor” in 2013 and released her debut single “Zero” last year.
Finally, World of Girl is a girl group constituting of four 16 to 23 year olds. The group was made by Rene Dig, the male lead singer of the hugely popular group Aqua.
“Her og Nu” has successfully predicted many of the participants taking part in Melodi Grand Prix over the past few years. Broadcaster DR will release the full list of singers and full length songs on January 26.
