Morten Kaiser from Denmark
As a Dane should I love โSoldiers of Loveโ? Well, they won a landslide victory in the Danish final, but they werenโt my favorite, unfortunately. Itโs not a bad song at all, but it really misses something. The song sounds like itโs building up to something that doesnโt come. The ending and the climax of the song should be more powerful! The three Danish guys are very likeable, but Iโm sorry to say, that I donโt love โSoldiers of Loveโ, but I like the song and the message. But will that be enough to secure a place in the Grand Final. Maybe, but Denmark can not be sure this year.
Fotis Konstantopoulos from Greece
I am not sure how I feel about this song. It is clear that it was the outsider to win the national selection. It is also true that Denmark surprises us all in most of its participations with high rankings out of no where. The song is good, the guys are descent but I am not sure their song can be convincing enough to be voted.
Luka Popovic from Serbia
Quite a weak entry in my opinion. In a sea of strong power ballads and pop songs this just seems frail in comparison. Not sure how many people will remember it by the end of the night. The vocals are generally good but I feel like they should be stronger or perhaps supported by backing singers to make it really stand out from the pack. I heard this song for the first time when doing this review and after listening to it several times it does grow on you and the tune becomes catchy. However, the majority of viewers at home will be hearing it for the first time at the semis and first impression is everything.
