HORSENS, DENMARK – In March the 16-year old Emilie Esther won the hearts of the Danes when she won the Danish X-Factor. Now she could be one of the participants in Melodi Grand Prix 2016, the Danish national final for Eurovision. In an interview with the magazine HER & NU she said that she wants to participate, but she also wants to concentrate on her school, so she doesn’t know what to do yet.
During her participation in X-Factor Emilie Esther’s coach was Remee who has co-written several songs for Eurovision, including the German song in 2008 “Disappear” as well as the Danish songs in 2012 “Should Have Known Better” and in 2015 “The Way You Are”. If Emilie Esther wants to participate in the Danish national final it could be with a song written by Remee
The Danish entrant for Stockholm will be found at Melodi Grand Prix 2016 which will take place in the city of Horsens on the 13th of February.

I am not fan of such statistics
You never know what happens each time
She is actually pretty good. But would it be wise to enter with a song penned by Remmee? Both “Disappear” and “Should’ve known better” ended up on the bottom of the scoreboard and “The way you are” didn’t even qualify to the final. Maybe she should look into other composers as well. Good luck either way.
