DENMARK – Denmark selects its Eurovision entry for Lisbon on February 10th where Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2018 takes places in Gigantium in Aalborg, DR announced today.
Like 2017 the hosts of the contest will be Annette Heick and Johannes Nymark. Annette is a singer with Eurovision in her blood. Her father Keld Heick has written several songs for Eurovision and both Annette and her parents has participated as artists many times. Annette will host Dansk Melodi Grand Prix for the third time after 2016 and 2017. Johannes Nymark is an actor who won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2016 with Lighthouse X and he co-hosted Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2017.
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will take place in Aalborg’s Gigantium. The city has hosted the contest seven times and the last time Aalborg hosted Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was in 2015 when Anti Social Media won the “The Way You Are”.

The winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will represent Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. In 2017 Anja represented Denmark and she secured the first appearance in the Grand Final since 2014.
