THE NETHERLANDS – One of the most famous and internationally recognized, DJ Armin van Buuren denied any wish or proposal to appear in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Speaking to QMUSIC confirmed that NPO approached him but he stated that:
“I don’t think I’m in the right place. Of course, I was approached and there are conversations and things. But no, I don’t know if I can add anything as an artist. What am I going to do there? Behind a turntable with my hands in the air? That feels uncomfortable. There are a lot of artists in the Netherlands who can wear that beautifully. No, it’s not going to happen.”
