ESTONIA – Estonian national broadcaster announced today the rules, changes, and dates for EESTI LAUL, the show through which Estonia will decide its Eurovision 2022 entry.

- Submissions opened today and will end on October 20.
- There will be changes in the format as quarterfinals are introduced. They will take place as of November 20 and the following three Saturdays.
- In the quarterfinals, there will be 40 songs, 20 in English and 20 in Estonian. From each quarterfinal, five songs will proceed to the semi-finals.
- The semi-finals will take place on February 3 and 5, respectively. The national final is set for February 12.
As expected, Estonian broadcaster E.R.R. will reveal the songs in due time.
