Fundraising and live streaming
The concert aims to raise funds for the purchase of machinery and to provide medical assistance to the wounded victims of the war. The aim of the event is to involve European countries more and more in supporting Ukraine’s desire to become a member of the EU.
Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
“The event will be held in a crucial historical period for the future of Europe. Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom, and sovereignty and to protect its territorial integrity, but also to defend values and the whole of Europe from the Russian invasion. At the moment, the most important political decision is to guarantee Ukraine’s candidate status as a member of the European Union. Ukraine has earned it.”
The symbol of the event is a heart, with the colours and the map of Ukraine. The heart beats in rhythm with the rest of the civilized world, as a sign of hope for a country that will one day be part of the European Union family.
The organizers of the event are 1 + 1 Media (one of the largest media holding companies) and Atlas Festival (one of the largest festivals in Eastern Europe), together with partners such as Vodafone Ukraine and Mastercard, with the patronage and support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two organizers had previously organized two major concert marathons in favour of Ukraine, thanks to which they had managed to raise 1,635,000 euros in charity.
