Olivier Rocher from France
Following last yearโs success, Estonia has decided to go โretroโ this year. Jรผri is called โthe Estonian James Bondโ, he is so classy indeed. We should expect a quite simple staging there since the boy ainโt a show man but just a real performer. โPlayโ is the true heir of last year โGoodbye To Yesterdayโ: same sound, same vibe, same feeling. Given 2015 results, we can expect this song to qualify as well. But be careful, different year, different line-up hence different outcomeโฆ
Andreas Athanasiou from Greece
I love it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It’s co-written by Stig Rasta (Estonia 2015) and it really is a beautiful, different song. It’s fresh and it is something I believe with haven’t heard before in the contest. Juri has a decent and steady voice. But what I love the most about him is the fire in his eyes. You can tell that he believes in his song. It’s real! My only fear is that Europe might not get what I am getting and this will not be a very successful entry, results-wise. Oh, the drama of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Victor Cruz Lafuente from Spain
Perfect song for a true crooner, the boy has a good voice but, in my opinion, he should modify certain melodies of his voice during the song to give to the song another dimension and capture the viewer’s attention. Jรผri has to improve his stage presentation, this song calls for the singer to fell in love with the camera, and in his preselection did not do it. It is not a serious problem, still has time to study his song and sure right now what he’s doing. Good song, but Jรผri has to improve.
