The winner of this year’s Eesti Laul and the 27th representative of Estonia in the 65th Eurovision Song Contest was Uku Suviste with his song “The Lucky One”. Twelve were the songs that claimed the ticket to the Netherlands and three were those that made it to the “super final” of the night after the vote of the jury and the television audience. Specifically the following:
- 1. Jury Pootsmann – “Magus melanhoolia”
- 2. Uku Suviste – “The Lucky One”
- 3. Sissi – “Time”
Then the floor was given exclusively to the audience, who decided that “The Lucky One” will be the one to compete in this year’s Eurovision!
The evening went very nicely since the whole event was highly professional even though the stadium was absent! After the break with the news, the voting of the international jury started, in which Sissi won by a wide margin! During the new public voting in the Super Final, local artists (Liis Lemsalu & Stefan) took the stage and then the final result was announced!
