01.28% for ARMY OF LOVERS (SWEDEN)
HELENA PAPARIZOU (GREECE, SWEDEN)
Helena Paparizou is making a big come back to the Eurovision world 9 years after her victory in Eurovision 2005 triumph. She is participating for Sweden’s Melodifestivalen and could represent the country she was born in Eurovision 2014. Her song entry, “Survivor” is a song about her own life, how she survived through her personal problems the past few years.
SARAH DAWN FINER (SWEDEN)
Also known as Lynda Woodruff, Sarah Dawn Finer is amazing comedian and an excellent singer. We all wanted her to host th 2013 Eurovision edition as EBU’s Lyna Woodruff but even her clips (in 2013 Eurovision and 2012, 2013 Melodifestivalen) were simply amazing. Not to forget the stunning performance of the “winner takes it all” during the 2013 final interval act.
EDDIE RAZAZ (SWEDEN)
The most hot entrant in the 2013 Melodifestivalen. His song “Alibi” might not have taken the ticket to Eurovision but his presence and sex appeal made the entire Europe talking about him. He is a veqrwy original person, low profiled and he only records song when he feels something about them.
EMMELIE DE FOREST (DENMARK)
The Danish singer, brought the 3rd trophy to Copenhagen, the city of which will host th 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Meeting her in Malmoe and Kyiv, Emmelie is a genuine artist, well grownded and focused on music. She is friendly with everyone and her voice is magical! She’s already a theme in a Danish museum and she never hide her feelings and emotions.
GAIA CAUCHI (MALTA)
The 11 year old girl won th 2013 Junior Eurovision and brought to Malta their first Eurovision trophy ever. She has a unique talent, an amazing stunning voice and we predict she has a great future ahead. She is very mature for her age and excellent in communication skills. Overall is a wonder kid and simply we love her!
For years we only had Johnny Logan as Mr Eurovision. Since April 2013 and according to EBU’s declaration, 1991 winner Carola is been awarded the title “Miss Eurovision” as she is the multi participant for Sweden who brought always top 5 ranks for her country. Her new gay-frienly approach seems to have been very appealing to the Eurofans.
She dared to withdraw from Junior Eurovision 2013 interval act and choose the Kyiv demonstrations on November 30th. Besides a big artist, Ruslana is widely known for her strong political views. This time her nation needed her more than us (the Eurofans). She did the perfect choice and we honestly hope she will have a share in the pro European orientation of Ukraine, which suffers from corruption and of course the Russian “motherhood”. Although music and politics shouldn’t mess, when it comes to human lives and future we also prefer to miss one Ruslana’s act if it’s for the best of the greater good of Ukraine. Well done girl!
CONCHITA WURST (AUSTRIA)
She is a bearded transexual artist. But is she only that? No, she is delivering a message. It’s all about tolerance and the Austrian 2014 representative will make sure she is spreading the message especially towards Russia which imposed one of the most facists laws in the recent history of Europe. Besides that she is unique and cannot be compared with any other transexual acts we saw in Eurovision in the past. This is, after all, the first transexual who’s participation has a true meaning!
ARMY OF LOVERS (SWEDEN)
Most of us (from generation of 30s) grew up and loved Army of Lovers. Although they failed to impress the Melodifestivalen voters, their re-union for the contest had a great appeal. Army of Lovers invited to many countries afterwards to perform like Serbia and especially Moscow, a city of which is now black listed amongst gay community.
MARIJA SERIFOVIC (SERBIA)
During the presentation of her latest work, ISPOVEST, Marija Serifovic was asked: Have you been with a girl? She responded: Yes! It is amazing feeling to be with someone who doesn’t have a beard that will poke you. This comes for an artist who lives in Serbia, a country in which homophobia is quite big and ignorance even bigger. You need balls to make such a statement and finally Serbian societies could set an example for other narrow-minded nations to open their minds and hearts.
