More details about this year’s Eurovision Song Contest have been coming up, earlier today. It was revaled that popular swedish composer & producer, Andreas Kleerup will be part of the interval act for the 1st semifinal, on May 14th.
The performance will be inspired by the Swedish northern lights, as he will be singing a new special track, called Northern Light, for the occasion. The song is actually being composed yet.
‘It’s his artistry we want. He has such a broad range of talents and is equally talented in pop as in classical. He creates exciting scenarios and that’s what we need to describe the phenomenon of the aurora’, Christer Bjรถrkman reports.
Big Swedish and international artists, like Robyn, Cyndi Lauper or Lykke Li have made collaborations with him. Last year’s winner Loreen, also established contact with Kleerup, and a new song could see the light. Requiem Solution was performed at the Swedish Grammy Awards by both Loreen and Kleerup.
