VIENNA, AUSTRIA – Just two weeks out from the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, host city Vienna is continuing its heavy promotion of the event. The Austrian capital has illuminated the Uniqa Tower at night time, a 75 metre skyscraper, with 160.000 LED lights and 40.000 pixels to create the logo of the Eurovision Song Contest.
It adds to the busses, trams, trains and taxis already featuring the Eurovision logo as well as an Austrian Airlines jet. Furthermore, the city’s Copa-Steg pedestrian bridge features a commemorative panel for each of the 59 Eurovision winners. Those passing the bridge have the opportunity to instantly listen to the winning entry from each year. It brings to life the motto of this year’s contest entitled “Building Bridges”.
