- The Heads of Delegation meet in Stockholm for 2nd day finalising the details for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. As EBU reports: Till today’s meeting, all delegations had to hand in their 2016 Eurovision Song Contest entries to host broadcaster SVT. Bulgarian broadcaster BNT, which hosted the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, has been permitted by the EBU to release their song and video on Sunday 20th of March. Croatia, Iceland and Malta have also been granted permission to release their respective preview videos by that date. All necessary materials that are required for the host broadcaster to prepare the acts for the live shows have been delivered in time, in accordance with the Eurovision Song Contest Rules.

The official CD of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, as well digital bundles, will be released from 15 April. The official DVD, including full recordings of the three live shows, will be available from 17 June.

- More information about the postcards that will introduce the 43 acts before their performance in the Grand Final and the two Semi-Finals of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest has been announced today. They have been produced by Camp David, incorporating the “magic” of the Eurovision Song Contest logo, a dandelion that also reminds of the shape of the Stockholm Globe Arena. The postcards have been recorded in the respective home countries of the representatives, showing both parts of their personal lives and scenic views and typical impressions from their land. Three to four locations in each countries have been chosen for the shoots.
- The EBU has announced the preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest: The First Semi-Final will take place on 16 May, the Second Semi-Final on 18 May, and the Grand Final on 20 May, 2017. The dates have been chosen to not clash with major TV and sports events but they can still change in coordination with the 2017 host broadcaster.
- The Bulgarian entry in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be called If Love Was A Crime, sung by Poli Genova. The song, which was written by Borislav Milanov, Sebastian Armann, Joachim Bo Persson, and Poli Genova herself, will be premiered next week. We will present the official video clip on March 21st on Eurovision.tv.

Facts about the stage
- When Globen in Stockholm hosts this years Eurovision Song Contest, around 15.000 people are expected to attend the shows. But right next to The Globe, Tele2 Arena is located and when SVT announced Stockholm as the host city of this year’s contest, they promised to use the arena during Eurovision. Today, SVT reveals that “Eurovision the Party” will take place in Tele2 Arena on May 14th. Johan Bernhagen, the executive producer of Eurovision 2016 says to SVT that the party in Tele2 Arena will be a supplement to the parties in Globen, Eurovision Village and Euroclub and he hopes that Sweden has started a new tradition. On May 14th thousands of people will gather in Tele2 Arena to watch the Grand Final on a big screen and artists like Carola, Loreen, Danny Saucedo och Panetoz will perform at the party which will be hosted by Sanna Nielsen. There will also be shown backstage pictures, interviews and appearances from the hosts Mรฅns Zelmerlรถw and Petra Mede. When the jury votes will be announced during the Grand Final, the Swedish votes will be presented from the party at Tele2 Arena. Tickets will costs around 300 Swedish Kronar and will be available from March 18th at 10.00 CET.
