THE NETHERLANDS – In the past few hours, the web has been rumoured milled with the appearance of Lady Gaga in Eurovision 2021. Checking the singer’s events on Google results to Grand Final’s date performance at Rotterdam’s AHOY arena at 21:00 pm.
The information has not been clarified yet by EBU or anyone official, especially after Sietse Bakker’s statement that the organisers are making a scenario to keep the contest timing as limited as 3.45 minutes, avoiding grand performances (such as Madonna’s in 2019).
It could be a Google mistake or past posting remaining in the cache of the events which are now cancelled due to the pandemic, but we do expect some clarification from the officials.
In the meantime, while EBU is promoting NETFLIX EUROVISION MOVIE nomination to the OSCARS and Molly Sandén’s performance of the nominated song, it is weird why we haven’t heard yet an invitation to either the Swedish singer or the lead actors of the movie to the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2021.
After a huge NETFLIX success and massive viewing of the contest which spread the brand name of EUROVISION all over the planet, it is weird why they are not invited to the shows.
Maybe do we have an imminent announcement? Ongoing negotiations? Resolving travelling options due to the pandemic?
