This year’s representative of the country, Albina, was invited to a show on Croatian public television, where she sang Live, Tick-Tock, entirely in Croatian, accompanied by a band.
The official video clip of Norway’s participation in the 65th Eurovision Song Contest has just been released. “Fallen Angel”, the song that TIX will perform at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, has taken on flesh and blood.
NRK followed a different strategy this year to promote the country’s participation in Eurovision 2021. Immediately after the completion of the MGP 2021 final, they made the mandatory recording of the Live-On-Tape appearance, being the first country to do so. Unlike in previous years, the country’s representative did not attend any of the Pre-ESC events, but focused on rehearsing for his live appearance in Rotterdam. At the same time, the shooting for the video clip of “Fallen Angel” took place since so far we had only seen the song at the Melodi Grand Prix 2021. The video clip begins with the adult TIX playing his song on the piano, while in a “magical” way we are transported to his childhood living a childhood love with the artist. The years of TIX’s childhood innocence, however, were not as rosy as the video clip testifies. Bullying by his classmates for the specificity of “Tourette syndrome” is not lacking as he grows up. But the courage and the dream to succeed grow inside him. And he succeeds.
This year’s representative of Azerbaijan, Efendi, appeared in the final of The Voice Kids of her country, where she chose to interpret her participation last year Cleopatra, instead of this year, Mata Hari. One of the judges of the show was the representative of Azerbaijan in 2019, Chingiz Mustafayev, where the finalist of his team, Amina Hajiyeva, managed to be crowned the winner.
Efendi had also taken part in the Azeri version of The Voice in the past, where she took third place.
A few hours ago, through the official Eurovision channel on Youtube, the acoustic version of “Embers” was released, with which James Newman will represent the United Kingdom in Eurovision 2021.
Stefania performed as live as anyone can hear and believe the song Last Dance, with which she will represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2021. It is a performance that took place on the ERT 1 broadcast, and which you can watch next.
