TURIN, ITALY – Three more days until the big performance! Before LUM!X feat. Pia Maria take to the Eurovision stage on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 (live on ORF 1 from 9 PM), they had meetings with two other Eurovision performers on the agenda yesterday afternoon:
They met up with German Eurovision representative Malik Harris for a meet & greet in Turin, where they talked about their time at the Song Contest so far and gave interviews together.
They went to Caffè Torino with the Swiss Marius Bear, where they tasted “Bicerin” together, a traditional Turin hot drink made of espresso, cocoa and whole milk.
The four Eurovision performers had time to talk privately and gather new energy for the coming week:
“We met with the performers and delegations from Germany and Switzerland today. I am generally a very open person and love to chat with people. So I was very happy to meet them and exchange a bit more privately about how we are doing with the ESC hustle and bustle. It was a very great experience for me!”, says Pia Maria.
Malik Harris from Germany is a big fan of the Austrian song “Halo”:
“It’s awesome. I’ve heard it live a few times now and every time the chorus comes for the first time, I always feel like the song speeds up to three beats and I feel like dancing. I am definitely a fan.”
Marius Bear from Switzerland is also keeping his fingers crossed for Austria in the first semi-final:
“I met LUM!X and Pia Maria a few weeks ago and we’ve already had a lot of fun together and really good conversations. LUM!X is a cool DJ, I’ve known his music for a long time. And I believe for Austria this year: It’s going to be something at the ESC!”
“As always, it was a lot of fun hanging out with Malik and Marius. They were two of the first artists we got to meet at the ESC and we hit it off right away. I wish them good luck for next week in the live shows!”
