TURIN, ITALY – Since this morning there is a post on social media, clearly deriving from an Albanian account, claiming to have an official and confidential EBU document with the results (overall and split) of the first semifinal, which concluded last night.
If the document is proven, then many of you will be shocked by how the public and the jury voted and how the countries ranked in each column. If this document is verified (which we surely doubt since every year we have similar “documents”) then you will be shocked for countries like Greece, Albania, Norway, Moldova and Iceland!
In an update, the EBU clarified that the document is fake:
Voting data is highly secure and only shared with a small number of individuals during the course of the Eurovision Song Contest. The President of the EBU is not one of them.
