POLAND – Eurovision 2022 will be held in Italy for the first time, and Roksana Wฤgiel has said she would not compete.
Even though she’s already qualified for the adult competition, the former Junior Eurovision champion was contacted by TVP earlier this year about competing in 2021.
A ballad showcasing her abilities as a singer was her answer to the question of what kind of entry she wanted to submit in the future. However, it would have to be of a more recent vintage to be acceptable.
She won the title of Best Polish Act at the 2019 MTV European Music Awards for her self-titled first album.
“I do not feel ready for adult Eurovision, I will not hide it. I donโt feel it right now, at this point, so for now the idea is gone. Although who knows, maybe in the future? Really, if I decided to participate in adult Eurovision, I would have to come up with a very good number.”
